Ethernet Configuration Commands

Use the show statistics command in Privileged EXEC mode to display 

detailed statistics for a specific port or for the entire switch.

show statistics {gigabitethernet unit/slot/port |switchport | port-channel 

port-channel-number | tengigabitethernet unit/slot/port 

| 

fortygigabitethernet unit/slot/port}

This command has no default configuration.

Privileged EXEC mode, Config mode and all Config sub-modes

This command has no user guidelines.

The following example shows statistics for port 1/0/1.

console(config-if-Te1/0/1)#show statistics te1/0/1

Total Packets Received (Octets)................ 0

Packets Received 64 Octets..................... 0

Packets Received 65-127 Octets................. 0

Packets Received 128-255 Octets................ 0

unit/slot/port
