Hard disk drives attached to RC J8 are designated by the 9212-4i BIOS to be boot devices. If

the hard disk drive connected to RC J8 is a member of a RAID array, the RAID array is the boot device.

If there are fewer than three hard drives in the configuration, the cables from HDD bays 1 and 2

are pre-plugged to the RAID card adapter ports.
