The fan assembly is located near the middle of the computer and is secured with three Torx screws.
To remove the fan assembly:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (see 
).
2.
Remove the stand (see 
).
3.
Remove the access panel (see 
).
4.
Remove the lower rear panel (see 
5.
Disconnect the two fan cables from the system board.
6.
Remove the three Torx screws that secure the fan assembly to the computer (1).
