If installing a USB 3.0 media card reader, you must use the USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 adapter and
connect the adapter cable from the media card reader to the USB 2.0 connector on the system
board labeled MEDIA.

All removable media should be taken out of a drive before removing the drive from the

computer.

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

Remove the access panel (

Remove the front bezel (

)

Disconnect the power cable and data cable from the back of the drive.

When removing the cables, pull the tab or connector instead of the cable itself to

avoid damaging the cable.

Push the green release lever on the right rear side of the drive toward the center of the drive (1),
then slide the drive forward and out of the bay (2).
