Example
To associate the IP address 202.38.10.2 with the MAC address 00e0-fc01-0000,

Parameters
ip_address
Enter the IP address of the ARP mapping entry.
mac_address
Enter the MAC address of the ARP mapping entry, in the format
H-H-H (H indicates a four digit hexadecimal number, for example
00e0-fc01-0000).

vlan_id
Enter the ID number of the VLAN that you want to use to associate with
the ARP mapping entry.
The VLAN ID can be in the range 1 to 4094. Optional.
Description
Use the
arp static
command to manually configure the static ARP mapping
entries in the ARP mapping table. You must enter an IP address and MAC address
with this command. You can optionally enter a VLAN ID.

undo arp static

command to remove a static ARP mapping
entry from the ARP table.
To remove all static ARP entries, use the
reset arp static
command. Note that
