Safety instructions:
When using electrical appliances, basic 
safety precautions should always be 
followed, including the following:

•Read all the instructions carefully before 

operating the appliance.

•To protect against electrical shock, do not 

immerse the appliance, its power cord or 
plug in water or any other liquid.

•Ensure that the appliance is placed out of 

reach of children. Never allow a child to 
use this appliance.

•Unplug the appliance when it is not in use 

and before undertaking any cleaning task.

•Do not operate any appliance with a 

damaged power cord or plug or after 
the appliance malfunctions or has been 
damaged in any manner. Return the 
appliance to the nearest authorized service 
centre.

•The use of accessories not recommended 

by the manufacturer may cause injuries.

•Do not use this appliance outdoors.
•Do not let the power cord hang over the 

edge of a table or counter or touch any hot 
surfaces.

•Do not place the appliance on or near a 

hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated 
oven.

•Always ensure that the appliance is 

switched off before plugging it into a wall 
socket. To disconnect, turn the speed 
control dial to the “0”(off) position, switch 
off at the wall socket and then remove the 
plug from the wall socket.

•This appliance is not intended for use by 

persons (including children) with reduced 
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, 
or lack of experience and knowledge, 
unless they have been given supervision 
or instruction concerning use of the 
appliance by a person responsible for their 
safety.

•Children should be supervised to ensure
