A. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not place any electric or gas-heating appliance beneath

the  coffeemaker.

B. To reduce the risk of fire, do not mount unit over or near any portion of a heating or cooking appliance.

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. See detailed instructions regarding precautions.

To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plugs, or machine in water or other liquid.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

Turn control knob OFF and  unplug

putting on or taking off parts, and

from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before

before  cleaning  the  appliance.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been

damaged in any manner. Return this appliance only to the nearest authorized  service center for repair.

The  use  of  accessory  attachments  not  recommended  by  the  appliance  manufacturer  may  cause  hazards

or injries.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

Do not place this appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.

To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.

Do not use appliance for other than intended use.

Use on a hard, flat level surface only, to avoid interruption of air flow underneath the appliance.

a cracked decanter or a decanter having a loose or weakened handle.

Do not clean the decanter with cleansers, steel wool pads, or other abrasive materials. See 

Discard decanter immediately if it is ever boiled dry.

Avoid  sharp  blows,  scratches,  or  rough  handling.

inside.  Repair  should  be  done  by  authorized  personnel  only.

1.  The power supply cord set length provided has been selected to reduce the hazards resulting from becoming

entangled in, or tripping over a longer cord set.

2.   Extension cords may be purchased and used if care is exercised in their use.

3.   If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the extension cord must be at least 120 volts

and 9 amps. The resulting extended cord 

 arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top

or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over accidentally.
