Panda GateDefender Performa can scan the most widely

used Internet protocols: HTTP, FTP, SMTP, IMAP4,

POP3 and NNTP, detecting all types of malware. It also

allows the administrator to define multiple ports to scan

for each protocol.

Panda GateDefender Performa detects all types of viruses,

worms, Trojans, jokes, phishing, spyware… before they

enter your network. Administrators can also define the

action to take if the malware is detected: disinfect or

delete. If the malware is inside a file attached to an SMTP

message, it can delete just the attachment or the entire

message, saving time for the recipient of the message.

Panda GateDefender Performa incorporates heuristic protection

to analyze the behavior of executable files before they

enter the network. By doing this it can detect malware that

has not yet been identified by any other protection.

Panda GateDefender Performa allows the administrator to

access real-time information on the status of the

Anti-malware system. It also generates detailed reports,

which can be customized to display the information the

administrator needs, viruses detected, source, target, etc...

files and messages received from the Internet via any protocol,

with multiple filter criteria defined by the administrator.

Panda GateDefender Performa incorporates hardware and

software diagnosis tools, as well as a self-repair mechanism

(WatchDog) to recover automatically from service failures.

By preventing saturation of network resources and downtime,

it increasing productivity with minimum administrator

intervention, resulting in low total cost of ownership.

Simply connect Panda GateDefender Performa to the

network and it will immediately start scanning the traffic,

in any of the six most commonly used protocols that passes

through it, achieving a throughput of 170 Mbps HTTP

traffic and 350 messages per second via SMTP.

Panda GateDefender Performa is available in three

different models to adapt to the precise needs of any

company, adjusting scan capacity to network traffic. It

also incorporates native and automatic load-balancing

allowing the load to be shared across multiple units,

resulting in improved performance.

GateDefender Performa allows status variables to be sent

through the Standard SNMP protocol or the syslog

application. This allows administrators to check the activity

of the protection modules and the general activity of all

the units across the network at the same time, and from

a single location.
