For all Remote-Ready Models. Allows the gas log heater to be
operated in a manually or thermostatically controlled mode. You can
turn the gas log heater on and off without ever leaving the comfort of
your easy chair.

When calling DESA Heating Products, have ready

• your name and address

• model and serial numbers of your fireplace

• how fireplace was malfunctioning

• type of gas used (propane/LP or natural gas)

• purchase date

Usually, we will ask you to return the part to the factory.

When calling DESA Heating Products, have ready

• model number of your fireplace

• the replacement part number

• pilot will not stay lit

• burners will have delayed ignition

• heater will not produce specified heat

• propane/LP gas supply may be low for propane/LP unit

You may feel your gas pressure is too low. If so, contact your local
gas supplier.

For all Remote-Ready Models. Allows the gas log heater to be turned
on and off by using a hand-held remote control.

For all models. The desired comfort setting can be selected on the
wall thermostat and the fireplace will automatically cycle from pilot
to the heat setting selected.

For all models. Allows the gas fireplace to be turned on and off with
a wall switch.

For all models. Your vent-free gas appliance requires regular
cleaning and maintenance to prevent performance problems.  This
kit gives you the tools and instructions to make it easy to clean all
critical areas of your appliance.

For all models. Ceramic fiber firebox liner adds the look of real brick.
