PANORAMA MODE
The Panorama mode is provided as standard with the Olympus
SmartMedia. With it, you can use the provided utility software to
connect the pictures you took to make a panorama picture. You
must overlap the edges when taking pictures.
How to take panorama pictures
1
Press the Function button to select the Function card mode.
n
The LCD monitor turns on automatically.
2
On the D-320L, the connecting direction (right, left, up,
down) can be selected with the Previous (–)/Next (+) button.
n
The boxes appear on the LCD monitor.
The D-220L only supports shooting to the right.
3
Press the Function button again to cancel the Panorama
mode.
Up to 20 frames can be connected as a panorama picture.
Overlap the left end of the picture with the right end of the
previous picture (when shooting to the right).
The panorama mode is available only when a
Standard card is used.
The provided C-20PU utility software is needed in
order to make panorama pictures.
Because the exposure is determined by the first
picture, do not shoot overly bright/dark subjects
such as the sun in the first frame.
Shooting many panorama pictures in the High
Quality mode consumes a lot of memory in the PC.
Use of the Standard Quality mode is
recommended.
The flash cannot be used in the Panorama mode.
