Clogged Filter Thermistor
3) The thermistor element is secured to the condenser outlet pipe with a clip. Remove 
the clip and replace the thermistor. Clip the new thermistor to the same location as the 
previous thermistor.
4) Replace the panels in their correct positions.
5) Plug in the unit, and turn on the power supply.
F. Removal and Replacement of Defrost Heater
1) Turn off the power supply, and unplug the unit.
2) Remove the panels.
3) Remove the screws securing the evaporator shroud. Pull the shroud forward and gently 
lower it.
4) Remove the screws securing the defrost heater bracket.
5) Remove the connection lead wire for the defrost heater.
6) Unsnap the defrost heater from the evaporator and remove the defrost heater.
7) Install the new defrost heater. Be sure to make wiring connections outside of the 
cabinet.
8) Replace the parts and panels in their proper positions in the reverse order of the 
removal procedure.
9) Plug in the unit, and turn on the power supply.
G. Removal and Replacement of Safety Defrost Thermostat
1) Turn off the power supply, and unplug the unit.
2) Remove the panels.
3) Remove the screws securing the evaporator shroud. Pull the shroud forward and gently 
lower it.
4) Remove the screws securing the thermostat. Remove the thermostat.
5) Install the new thermostat. Be sure to make wiring connections outside of the cabinet.
6) Replace the parts and panels in their proper positions in the reverse order of the 
removal procedure.
7) Plug in the unit, and turn on the power supply.
H. Removal and Replacement of Defrost Thermal Fuse
1) Turn off the power supply, and unplug the unit.
2) Remove the panels.
3) Remove the screws securing the evaporator shroud. Pull the shroud forward and gently 
lower it.
4) Cut the wire ties securing the thermal fuse. Remove the thermal fuse.
