4) Remove the panels and brackets.
5) Disconnect all wiring connections from the control boxes. 
6) Remove the four hex head bolts securing the refrigeration unit to the cabinet. 
7) Recover the refrigerant and store it in an approved container.
8) Disconnect the evaporator tubing next to the compressor.
9) Tilt the front of the refrigeration unit up and secure the refrigeration unit in that position.
10) Remove the four screws securing the evaporator to the refrigeration unit case and 
remove the evaporator.
11) Attach the new evaporator to the refrigeration unit case, then lower the refrigeration unit 
back into its original position.
CAUTION
1. Care must be taken to ensure that the capillary tube is not blocked or 
contaminated during this process.
2. Ensure that the capillary tube extends inside the mating tubing 1 to 1 3/8" 
(25 to 35 mm).
12) Remove the drier, then place a new drier in position.
13) Braze all fittings while purging with nitrogen gas flowing at a pressure of 3 to 4 psig.
14) Check for leaks using nitrogen gas (140 psig) and soap bubbles.
15) Evacuate the system, and charge it with refrigerant. See the nameplate for the required 
refrigerant charge.
16) Replace the parts and panels in their proper positions in the reverse order of the 
removal procedure.
17) Plug in the unit, and turn on the power supply.
O. Removal and Replacement of Condenser
1) Turn off the power supply, and unplug the unit.
2) Remove the panels.
3) Recover the refrigerant and store it in an approved container.
4) Remove the fan shroud.
5) Remove the clogged filter thermistor element from the condenser outlet pipe. Note its 
location.
6) Remove the bolts securing the condenser, then disconnect the condenser tubing.
7) Place the new condenser in position.
8) Remove the drier, then place a new drier in position.
9) Braze all fittings while purging with nitrogen gas flowing at a pressure of 3 to 4 psig.
10) Check for leaks using nitrogen gas (140 psig) and soap bubbles.
11) Evacuate the system, and charge it with refrigerant. See the nameplate for the required 
refrigerant charge.
