4) Carefully remove the control board.
5) Identify the part number and software 

revision of the new board and make sure it 
is interchangeable with the old board.

6) Install the new board in the control box 

taking care not to damage it.

7) Hook all wiring connections back to the control board.
8) Check to make sure that the switches and 

buttons line up appropriately on the display 
panel and that they operate.

9) Replace all panels and guards.

10) Plug in the unit and turn on the power supply.

1) Turn off power and unplug the unit.
2) Remove the panels and remove the regulator box cover.
3) Unhook all wiring connections to the control board.
4) Carefully remove the control board.
5) Install the new board in the regulator box taking care not to damage it.
6) Hook all wiring connections back to the control board.
7) Replace the regulator box cover and the panels in their proper positions.
8) Plug in the unit and turn on the power supply.

1) Turn off the power supply, and unplug the unit. For the remainder of the procedure, see 

the appropriate section below.

2) Remove the panels.
3) Disconnect the lead wire to the condenser fan motor.
4) Remove the bolts securing the fan shroud and remove the shroud.
5) Remove the fan motor from the shroud and remove the fan blade from the fan motor. 
6) Install the new fan motor in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
7) Replace the panels in their proper positions.
8) Plug in the unit, and turn on the power supply.

2) Remove the panels.
3) Remove the screws securing the evaporator shroud. Pull the shroud forward and gently 

lower it.
