6 Using the CLI
Alcatel-Lucent’s Command Line Interface (CLI) is a text-based configuration interface that allows you to
configure switch applications and to view switch statistics. Each CLI command applicable to the switch is
defined in the OmniSwitch CLI Reference Guide. All command descriptions listed in the Reference Guide
include command syntax definitions, defaults, usage guidelines, example screen output, and release
history.
