Motor Replacement:
WARNING !
Electric shock may cause injury or death.
DO NOT WORK ON AN ENERGIZED CIRCUIT.
Turn off the main power service disconnect switch.
Attach a label indicating that work is being made
on the electrical circuit.

1.
Disconnect the power to the machine.
2.
Disconnect the wires at the motor junction box.
3.
Tag the motor connections to maintain motor phasing.
4.
Install the new motor and check for proper rotation.
Proper shaft rotation is clockwise (CW) looking at the rear of the motor.

5.
When requesting a replacement motor, please have available:
a. The machine model number.
b. The machine serial number.
c. The motor location, i.e. (prewash tank, conveyor drive, etc.)
d. The machine Voltage, Hz, and phase.

Note:
Champion does not supply motor bearings, rotors, nor stators as separate service
replacement parts. A motor is available as a service replacement part or as part of a
complete pump/motor assembly.
