☆  Before you update EC & BIOS programs, backup your important data. If 
your update fails, contact the service center for help. 
☆  It is necessary to run your FlyBook on an external power. Connect your 
FlyBook with the DC-in adapter first, so that the EC & BIOS updates 
won’t fail due to FlyBook’s power outage. 
 
 
Check EC & BIOS Versions 
Please check if your EC & BIOS are the latest versions, if not, take the steps 
below to update them: 
 
1.  Double-click the [FlyBook Center] icon in the system tray. Then the FlyBook 
Control Center window will display. 
2.  Press “F1” key to show the version data window. 
 
☆  Note: The [FlyBook Control Center] window must be the highest window. 
 
 
Update EC/BIOS 
1.  Unzip the file like “FlyBook_Vx_EC_BIOS_version number.zip” to receive a 
“.iso” file. 
☆  ( the x means the FlyBook model which you want to update – V2V3, VM or V5; 
  the version number is the versions of the EC & BIOS in this zipfile )
