Personalising Your Phone
Personalising a Ring Style
You can change the alerts that notify you of the following events:
incoming calls, text messages, voicemail messages, data calls,
alarms, and reminders. Any changes you make are saved to the
current ring style.
Alert represents the current ring style.
Note: Some ring tones vibrate automatically. If you use one of
these tones, your phone vibrates even when it is not set to
Vibrate
or
Vibe&Ring
. To turn off these vibrations, see page 40.
To turn off alerts for messages that arrive during a call, see your
User Guide.
Activating Ringer IDs
When ringer IDs are turned on, your phone uses distinctive ringer
alerts to notify you of incoming calls or messages from specific
entries stored in your phonebook or specific categories of entries in
your phonebook.
