call waiting

When you’re on a call, you’ll hear an alert if you 
receive a second call.

Press 

N

 to answer the new call.

To switch between calls, press Options > Switch.

To connect the two calls, press Link.

To end the call on hold, press Options > End Call 
On Hold

.

caller ID

Caller ID shows the phone number for an 

incoming call in your external and internal 

displays.

Your phone shows the caller’s name and picture when 

they’re stored in your phonebook, or Incoming Call when 

caller ID information isn’t available.

You can set your phone to play a different ringer ID for 

an entry stored in your phonebook (see page 59).

To show or hide your phone number from the next 

person you call, enter the phone number and, before 

you press 

N

, press Options > Hide ID/Show ID.

emergency calls

Your service provider programs one or more 

emergency phone numbers, such as 911, that you can 

call under any circumstances, even when your phone 

is locked, or when the SIM card is not inserted.
