computer system requirements
To access the V CAST Music Store from a computer or
to transfer files from a computer to your phone, you
need the Windows® XP operating system, Windows
Media Player, and an active internet connection.
If you have the Windows XP operating system and an
internet connection, you can download Windows
Media Player. From your computer’s Web browser, go
to http://www.microsoft.com.
import songs from an audio CD

On your computer, launch Windows Media
Player.

Insert an audio CD into your computer’s CD ROM
drive.

Click on the “Rip” tab in the Windows Media
Player window.

Highlight the songs you want to import and click
on the “Rip Music” icon.
The songs are imported to the Windows Media
Player Library.
transfer files to your phone
To sync your computer with your phone using
Windows Media Player and a USB cable, see
“synchronize” on page 77.

To start the camera from the multimedia home
screen, use the thumb wheel to scroll to the
camera icon (
e
) and press the thumb wheel or
center select key (

) to select it.
Tip: You can also activate the camera from either
home screen by pressing the left soft key (
-)
(Start). Scroll to Camera and press the center
select key (
s
).
