e-mail, text, & MMS messages

messaging quick 
reference

Note: Some features might not work if you set 

up your e-mail account manually (without the 

e-mail setup wizard). Also, some menu items might 

not be available depending on your e-mail 

configuration and e-mail server.

send a text message

  

Press the left soft key (

-) (Start).

Use the thumb wheel to scroll to Messaging and 

press the thumb wheel or center select key (

s

) 

to select it.

Scroll to Text Messages and press the center 

select key (

s

).

Press the right soft key (

+) (Menu), scroll to New, 

and press the center select key (

s

).

Enter a recipient and enter your message.

When you are finished, press the left soft key 

(

-) (Send).

get text message delivery report

While composing a text message:

  

Press the right soft key (

+ (Menu).

Use the thumb wheel to scroll to Message Options and 

press the thumb wheel or center select key (

s

) 

to select it.
