The vacuum as described in this manual, unless otherwise noted, is designed to operate
with the ProTeam supplied battery pack and charger. The nominal operational voltage of
the backpack vacuum is 36 volts DC.
The battery charger is designed for a nominal input of 115 VAC and an output of 4 amps.
WARNING – Improper connection of the battery pack to the charger or the vacuum can
result in risk of electric shock. Do not attempt to modify the connectors provided with the
battery pack, charger, or vacuum. If the connectors do not engage the charger, battery
pack, or vacuum contact ProTeam immediately at 1.866.888.2168.

THE CHARGER MUST BE GROUNDED. If a charger should malfunction or stop working,
grounding provides a path of least resistance for electrical current, thereby reducing the
risk of electrical shock. This unit is equipped with a cord that has an equipment-ground-
ing conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be inserted in an appropriate outlet
that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordi-
nances. Cutting off the ground wire or using a cord that is not equipped with a ground
plug will void the warranty on the unit, and ProTeam will accept NO liability associated
with the unit.
WARNING - Improper connection of the equipment-grounding connector conductor can
result in a risk of electrical shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if
you doubt that the outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with
the charger. If it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electri-
cian. The battery charger is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit, and has a grounded
plug that looks like the plug illustrated in sketch A in Figure AA. A temporary adaptor
that looks like the adaptor illustrated in sketches B and C may be used to connect this
plug to a 2-pole receptacle as shown in sketch B if a properly grounded outlet is not
available. The temporary adaptor should be used only until a properly grounded outlet
(sketch A) can be installed by a qualified electrician. The green colored rigid ear, lug, or
the like extending from the adaptor must be connected to a permanent ground such as
a properly grounded outlet box cover. Whenever the adaptor is used, it must be held in
place by a metal screw.
Note:
In Canada, the use of a temporary adaptor is not permitted by the Canadian
Electrical Code.
For Canada – This appliance is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit and has a grounded
attachment plug that looks like the plug illustrated in sketch A in Figure AA. Make sure
that the charger is connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug. No
adaptor should be used with the charger detailed in this manual.
