To add a song to a playlist: 

1.  Touch 

 > Music. 

  If the music library is not displayed, touch   > Library. 

2.  Select Artists Albums, Songs, or Playlists in the music library to view the songs. 

3.  Touch and hold a song you like to open the options menu. 

4.  Touch Add to playlist and then touch a playlist. The song is added to the selected 

playlist. 

Set a Song as Ringtone 

You can set a song or audio file as your phone ringtone. 

1.  Touch 

 > Music. 

  If the music library is not displayed, touch   > Library. 

2.  Select Artists Albums, Songs, or Playlists in the music library to view the songs. 

3.  Touch and hold a song you like to open the options menu. 

4.  Touch Use as phone ringtone. 

Tip: 

You can also set a song as the phone ringtone when you are playing it by touching   > 
Use as ringtone. 

The Play Music application (

) works with Google Play 

Music, Google’s online music store 

and streaming service. You can stream via mobile data or Wi-Fi and listen to favorite songs that 
you’ve added to your online Google Play Music library. You can also play audio files you’ve 
copied directly to your device from a computer. 

Note:  For more information about Google Play Music, touch   > Help in the Google Play Music 

screen to view the online instructions. 

Play Your Music 

1.  Touch 

 > Play Music to open the Google Play Music app. 

2.  In the music library screen, swipe left or right to select RECENT/ARTISTS/ALBUMS/ 

SONGS/PLAYLISTS/GENRES and view the songs you want to play.
