Interfaces

You can manually delete voice or data VCs by issuing the set atm delete command.
Syntax: set atm delete <vpi> <vci>
Arguments:

vpi

is the virtual path identifer; a whole number 0-255

vci

is the virtual circuit identifier; a whole number 16-256

Example:

In this example, the default VCs are deleted from the SDSL WAN interface. The changes are 

committed and then saved.

Three commands are used to manage the Ethernet WAN interface option:

set  ip  wan

•

show  wan

•

show wan statistics

By issuing the set ip wan command, you can set one IP address for the Ethernet WAN interface. 

You need to commit and save changes then reset the unit for this command to take effect. You 

can overwrite this IP address. You can view the IP Interfaces table by issuing the show ip 

command; and you can view the WAN settings (none) and the statistics.

VPacket# set atm delete 0 102

VPacket# set atm delete 1 102

VPacket# commit atm

The ATM changes were committed

VPacket# save

VPacket#This action will overwrite the configuration in the Flash memory
