Application port command
The NAT feature “IP Port Mapping for NAT” allows the user to take a port of the WAN IP for 
the NAT port mapping. When the user maps the Telnet, WEB or SNMP server port to a different 
IP address, the possibility of losing access the 5100/6100 VDR exists. Therefore, he may wish to 
move the application to different port. This move restores access to the 5100/6100 VDR.
The following applications are available on the 5100/6100 VDR and are considered server 
applications:
telnet
WEB
SNMP
Changing the server application port
You can change the default port by issuing the set application_port command.
Syntax: set application_port snmp port <port>
Syntax: set application_port web port <port>
Syntax: set application_port telnet port <port>
Note. When using this command, you need to save and commit the changes and then 
reset the 5100/6100 VDR. The configuration is active after the next system reboot. 
Argument:
port
a port number between 0-65535
Example:
In this example, the application port for telnet applications is set to 8080.
