Set Start Mode (Loop Start/Ground Start)
To set start mode (for POTS only), type “S” on the Voice Configuration menu
(Figure 4.27) to display the Start Mode Selection menu (Figure 4.49).

Set All Ports to Loop

Type “1” to select Set All Ports to Loop Start. The IAD sets all ports to

Start
To set All Ports to Ground Start, follow the steps below.

To configure Start Mode on an individual port, follow the steps below.
