• Match Case
Check this check box if you want your search to be case sensitive
(to match upper- and lower-case letters).
• Wild Card
Check this check box to use the Wild Card function, which allows
you to search for documents that contain a certain combination of
characters. Wild Card works by using the character “*” to represent
any number of unknown characters and “?” to represent a single
unknown character. For example, imagine that you have two
documents named SHARP and SHIP. If you enter SH*P in the
Name field, both documents will be found. If you enter SH?P, only
SHIP will be found.
Do not check the Wild Card check box when searching for
documents with the characters “*” and “?” in the Author,
Keyword, or Comment fields.
• Logic
Select And if you want to search only for documents that match all
your search information. Select Or to search for documents that
match any part of your search information.
