Use of the menus
Adjusting the PIP tint setting  (not available for digital signals via AV4)
There is a separate 
TINT
control for PIP (Picture-in-Picture).

Select 
PIP
in the 
FEATURES 
menu
.

Press the cursor right to shift the display to the 
TINT
adjustment bar.
A PIP window appears on the screen.
Press the cursor left/right to adjust the 
TINT
bar to the desired level.
Press the cursor up to turn PIP
OFF
and to return to the 
FEATURES
menu.

Selecting the screen format
You have the choice of selecting different screen formats:
4:3
,
ZOOM 14:9
,
ZOOM 16:9
,
SUBTITLE ZOOM
,
WIDE SCREEN
,
AUTO
and 
SUPERWIDE
.

Select 
FORMAT
in the 
FEATURES
menu.

Press the cursor right repeatedly to cycle through the different screen
formats and select your desired format.
Note:You can also select the screen format with the cursor left/right.
4:3
: the picture is reproduced in 4:3 format and black bars are displayed on
both sides of the screen.
ZOOM 14:9
: the picture is enlarged to 14:9 format.Thin black bars are
displayed on both sides of the screen.
With menu off, you can make subtitles visible with the cursor up/down;
ZOOM 16:9
: the picture is enlarged to 16:9 format.This format is
recommended when displaying picture which have black bars at the top and
the bottom (letterbox format).
With menu off, you can move the picture up or down with the cursor
up/down;
SUBTITLE ZOOM
: this format is used to display 4:3 pictures using the full
surface of the screen and making the subtitles visible.
With menu off, you can move the picture up or down with the cursor
up/down;
WIDE SCREEN
: this format restores the correct proportions of pictures
transmitted in 16:9 using full screen display.
Note: If you display a 4:3 picture in this format, it will be enlarged horizontally.
SUPERWIDE
: this format is used to display 4:3 pictures, using the full surface
of the screen by enlarging the sides of the picture.
With menu off, you can move the picture up or down with the cursor
up/down.
AUTO
: auto will select the correct screen format, provided the specific signals
are transmitted with the programs.
Note: This automatic format can also be modified manually.
