3.1.2 Silent telephone
You can turn off the ringtone of the VoIP telephone IP110 simply by pressing a
key, for example if you do not wish to be disturbed during a meeting.

1. To turn off the ringtone, press the mute key for about half a second
whilst in idle mode. The display appears in Fig. 4. Now the telephone
only signalises an incoming call on the display, not acoustically.

3.1.3 Different types of call numbers
In addition to normal call numbers, your IP telephone can also dial H.323 names
and IP addresses.
Call numbers consisting of characters other than the digits 0 to 9 and the
characters * and # are considered to be H.323 names. Call numbers beginning
with the character @ are always regarded as H.323 names. The @ is removed
before dialling however.
