⇒ TE: Captures specific messages that are sent to the terminal. 

⇒ NT: Captures specific messages that are sent to the network. 

Buffer Mode: Choose whether monitoring should stop when the memory’s space is 
full, or older data should be overwritten. 

CRC4: Activate or deactivate the CRC4 procedure. PRI only. 

Protocol: Choose the local singling protocol. 

Ω termination: Choose if you want to add a 100Ω termination to the S/T socket. 

This option can be used if the S/T bus is not correctly terminated in the connection 
point of the device. The default value is NO. BRI-S only. 

Gain RXA/RXB: It is possible to insert an amplifier for each side of the link. Only in 
Monitor PRI mode.  

L2 ignore alarms: Timer used to ignore layer 1 alarms that are shorter than the 
inserted value. Only in Monitor PRI mode. 

For the other parameters, refer to paragraph 3.3 COMMON SETUP. 

 

This accessory is used to monitor signalling over the D-channel between the 
exchange and the user over a Basic access, when monitoring over the S/T interface 
is not possible.   

This is typical of the installation of NT1+ network terminations, in which the signalling 
protocol for analogue interfaces can only be analyzed over the U interface.    

The D2022 is placed in series between the two wires of the U interface coming from 
the exchange (LT) and the user network termination (NT). It connects to the device 
by means of the cable supplied, with the 'V.11' and 'POWER OUT' connectors. 
The D2022 is powered by the device, which can be powered with AC/DC adapter or 
internal batteries. In the latter case, battery operation is reduced consequently.
