To select the B channel to be connected in loop or audio. 

In Simulation mode the instrument displays additional information on the channel if 
the call-back or call forwarding function is active. See § 3.8.1. 

If present, the remote number is shown in the "{[CD]Å, [CB] Æ} [+,++] N" format: 

 

Remote number compared to the instrument. 

 

Type of number: unknown/national+/international++.

Indicates a call followed by a call-back upon disconnection 
(call-back delayed). Simulation mode only. See § 3.8.2. 

 

Indicates a call made as call-back. Simulation mode only.

Indicates a call made as cross-loop (call forwarding). 
Simulation mode only. See § 3.8.2. 

In Basic access, page 2 also displays voltage power level of the phantom power with 
related power mode.  

 

The third page shows the layer 1 status, with information about synchronization, 
alarms and errors for each direction.
