12.3.4. Replacing the NiMH Battery Pack
It should not usually be necessary to replace the battery pack. If you do want to
replace the battery pack, refer to Figure 12-2 and follow the instructions below.

To avoid electrical shock, remove any cable before opening the battery access cover.

Disconnect any cable both at the source and at the
instrument.

Locate the battery access cover on the bottom rear.
Loosen the two screws with a screwdriver.
