Connection for the AC/DC adapter supplied with the 
instrument 

To avoid electrical shock, use only Aethra

®

 adapter model 

531001457. 

Connection for the external telephone handset. For further 
information on connection, see appendix A.   

Proprietary connection to serial port for interfacing with a 
PC or printer via a standard RS 232 cable or connection to 
external accessories used for POTS controlling. 

 

To avoid electrical shock, use only Aethra

®

 cables and 

accessories. 

Connection to external accessories, e.g. used for all 
simulation tests or monitoring on the S or T interface 
(Basic Rate). 

To power the instrument from a standard AC outlet, perform steps 1.3.
