•  Incoming 64k: the instrument waits for a call from another instrument. As
soon as a compatible call is received, the instrument answers automatically
and starts to generate and measure according to the set pseudorandom
sequence. Use a remote instrument that is set to outgoing calls.

•  Incoming 64k all bear: the instrument waits for a call from another
instrument. As soon as a call is received, the instrument answers
automatically and starts to generate the PRBS and measure the BER
according to the set pseudorandom sequence.

In ‘Incoming 64k all bear’, the test equipment can be used like a
remote automatic answer machine, where for each kind of
incoming call it performs a PRBS sequence generation.
Band: To select the bandwidth on which perform the test. Only LEASED LINE mode.
Bit Sequence: Set the pseudo-random pattern to be used from the list or define your
own pattern.
Pass/Fail Test: Choose the BER value. This value is used to determine the pass or
fail test condition. Use E-7 (10-7) when no other value is requested. The G.821 value
calculates the acceptability threshold according to the performance target expected
by the G.821 recommendation. The HRX(%) parameter modifies such threshold.
Error Injection: Insert the number of errored bits which the device sends on line. It is
possible to use both manual and automatic mode. In automatic mode, you need to
insert the BER value to be sent.
SES Threshold:  Choose the number of errors per second in order to consider the
second as Severely Errored. Use the G.821 default value, corresponding at 10-3
when no specific value is requested.
DM Threshold: Choose the number of errors per minute in order to consider the
minute ad Degraded. Use the G.821 default value when no specific value is
