The instrument is provided with an automatic battery recharge circuit. In case of 
connection over the ISDN, the instrument receives power directly from the tested line.   

If this voltage is not available, the instrument is automatically powered through the 
internal batteries.  

 

The internal batteries must be always present. 

You can select the instrument power mode (line or internal batteries only).  

To recharge the internal batteries, you only need to connect the external mains 
adapter.   

Recharge time is approx. 3 hours if the batteries are dead.  

You can set the contrast of the screen to your preference. Use the arrow keys to 
change and relate to the pattern at the bottom of the screen. 

The instrument allows you to activate the screen saver function when left in the same 
page for a long time to avoid screen degradation. You can also set a password to 
return to normal operation. 

Select the SCREEN SAVER MANAGEMENT submenu.
