Whenever a key is pressed while in Keypad Lock mode, the unlock instructions
display briefly.

You can also set your phone’s keypad to lock automatically after a specified
period of time. See “Setting Keypad Lock” on page 159.

When you receive an incoming phone call (see “Receiving a Phone Call” on
page 67), Keypad Lock is temporarily disabled.

From the idle screen, press

m *. The

message Keypad Locked displays on your
phone.

Press

B under YES or press s to answer the call. When you end the

call, the Recent Calls list appears. Press

e or press B under EXIT to

reactivate Keypad Lock and return to the idle screen.

Or,

Press

B under NO or press e to send the call to Voice Mail and

reactivate Keypad Lock.
