 Party/indoor

Captures the effects of candlelight and other indoor back-

ground lighting.

• Camera focuses on subject in center of frame.

• Hold the camera steadily to prevent camera shake in dark places.

• Electronic VR (c 106) will be applied when flash mode is set 

to fill flash with slow sync and red-eye reduction, off, slow 

sync, or when shutter speed is slow.

Captures the brightness of such subjects as snowfields, 

beaches, or sunlit expanses of water. 

• Camera focuses on subject in center of frame.

Preserves the colors seen in the weak natural light before sun-

rise or after sunset. 

• Camera focuses at infinity. The AF indicator (c 28) always 

lights; however, focus may not be set for near subjects, while 

the camera focuses at infinity.
