Water Filter

Replacing the Water Filter
In general, you should change the water filter every six
months to ensure the highest possible water quality. The
Water Filter Status light on the user interface prompts
you to replace the filter after a standard amount of water
(200 gallons/757 liters for PureSource Ultra
TM
)

has
flowed through the system. The water filter status light
on this model is not performance tested or certified by
NSF.
If your refrigerator has not been used for a period of time
(during moving for example), change the filter before
reinstalling the refrigerator.
Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or
of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before
or after the system. Systems certified for cyst reduction
may be used on disinfected waters that may contain
filterable cysts.
