a)
In Windows, choose Start, then Shut Down to
turn off computer power. Then turn off the
power of your scanner.

Check to make sure you have connected the
correct SCSI cable to the SCSI port, not the
parallel port. If you connect the SCSI cable to
the parallel port, your scanner will not be
found.

switch it to the On position. If the scanner
