Update Trail Option
This menu lets you change the way trail updates occur.

Trail Options menu with Update Criteria set to Auto (left). Update
Criteria set to Time (center). Update Criteria set to Distance (right).
When Time or Distance are selected, a dialog box will appear auto-
matically.
WARNING:
If the Update Trail box is unchecked, automatic trail
creation and recording will be turned off in both Ad-
vanced and Easy modes. You will have to turn it on again
to record trails. The default setting is on.
