Before users can use their office phones with Exchange, make 

sure that as the Exchange administrator you have: 

• Installed the Exchange software 

• Connected the hardware 

• Configured the PBX and the access code is set up 

• Activated your company’s Skype accounts  

• Added Skype contacts to the Exchange 

• Optional: if you want to allow users to make 

SkypeOut calls, you must purchase SkypeOut credit for 

all of your company’s Skype accounts. For more 

information about SkypeOut, go to 

www.skype.com

1.  On your office phone, dial the number to access the 

Skype line. If you don't know this number, ask your 

Exchange administrator for this information.
