USING THE DRIVE WITH WINDOWS – 50

The sections below describe how to use the icon and alternative methods to perform 
these actions, as well as how to unlock the My Passport for Mac drive using the virtual 
CD on the desktop.

If the WD SmartWare software is running in the background, you can launch it in the 
following ways:

•     Click Start > (All) Programs > WD SmartWare > WD SmartWare. 

•   Double-click the WD SmartWare icon 

 in the task bar.

Note:  You can also right-click or left-click the WD SmartWare icon 

 in the 

task bar and select WD SmartWare.

The WD SmartWare Home screen displays.
