Drive Interfaces
FireWire 400
FireWire (also known as IEEE 1394a) is the serial bus interface standard for personal
computers and digital audio/digital video. It features a simplified cabling system,
supports hot swapping, and peer-to-peer device communication. FireWire 400
supports data transfer speeds up to 400 megabits per second.
USB 2.0 Interface
USB is the industry standard interface for most Windows-based computers.
Hi-Speed USB (USB 2.0) supports data transfer rates up to 480 Mb/s. USB 2.0 is
backward-compatible with USB 1.1. Connection to a USB 1.1 port transfers data at
USB 1.1 speed (up to 12 Mbps).

Optional Power Booster Cable
For USB connectivity, a special USB cable may be needed for computers with limited
