Configuring the PoE Monitoring Function
After the PoE monitoring function is enabled, the system monitors the parameter values related to PoE
power supply, PSE, PD, and device temperature in real time. When a specific value exceeds the
limited range, the system will automatically take some measures to protect itself.
Configuring PoE Power Supply Monitoring
PoE power supply converts AC power to specific DC power and supplies to PSEs. Exceptions of AC
input voltage and DC output voltage of PoE power supply directly affect the PSEs to supply power to
PDs. You can configure monitoring over AC input voltage and DC output voltage of PoE power supply.
When a specific monitored item reaches the threshold, the system will generate trap message to notify
the administrator of the PoE power supply exception.
