Perform the following in System View.

Perform the following configuration in Ethernet interface view.

When an Ethernet interface is configured with two or more IP addresses, use the 
keyword 

 to identify the second one and those behind it (that is, the 

secondary IP addresses).

The configuration of MTU can affect the fragment and reassembly of IP packets.

Perform the following configuration in Ethernet interface view.

The frame format defaults to Ethernet_II and MTU size is in the range of 46 to 
1500 bytes.

 

As mentioned earlier, an FE interface can work at both 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps. 
Perform the following configuration in Ethernet interface view to select the 
operating speed of the interface.

By default, 

negotiation

 is selected, i.e., the system automatically chooses an 

optimum operating speed. Alternatively, you can specify a speed for the interface 
by force, but the speed thus specified must be the same as one of the connected 
network.
