Before connecting your speakers
Read the following before connecting your speakers.
• Turn off your amplifier before making any connec-
tions.
• The nominal impedance of these speakers is
4 ohms. Use only an amplifier that supports this
impedance.

• Be sure to connect the speaker wires with the cor-
rect polarity. Connect the speaker’s positive (+)
binding post to your amplifier’s positive (+) termi-
nal, and the negative (–) binding post to its nega-
tive (–) terminal. If the polarity is incorrect, bass
output will be greatly reduced and the sound will
be unclear. In addition, be sure to connect the left
and right speakers to the corresponding left and
right terminals on your amplifier.

Speaker hookup

Loosen the speaker terminals.

nals as shown, and tighten the speaker termi-

Tip:
• The speaker terminals can be used with commer-
cially available speaker cables fitted with banana
plugs. Before inserting a plug, tighten the speaker
terminals first.
