Windows XP USB Download and Installation
When you plug the computer cable into the VESA connector on a computer, Windows XP automatically detects and
installs USB drivers for the keyboard and composite device. It is only when you plug in the USB cable that you must
install the InFocus Windows XP drivers. You need only to follow the Found New Hardware Wizard to complete the
driver installation process. It starts automatically when Windows XP you plug in the USB cable.
Note that you need to install the driver once on each laptop or desktop PC you use with the projector.
To download the Windows XP USB drivers
NOTE
If you are upgrading projector software, note that the drivers are included with the software bundle you
downloaded. You do not need to download them separately. Go to To install the USB Drivers for Windows XP on
the next page.
In the USB page, click the Download Now button next to the Windows XP USB Drivers. The File Download
dialog box appears.

NOTE By default the File Download dialog box includes a message warning you that you are about to
download a potentially damaging file. You can ignore this message.
Click Save.
The Save As dialog box appears.
Navigate to the location where you want to save the file, then click Save.
You can place it on the Desktop if you wish. You will not need to keep the file after you install the drivers
unless you plan to upgrade more than one computer. You can also save the file on a floppy disk after you
download it.
The USB-drivers.exe file downloads to your computer's hard drive. You are ready to install the USB drivers on
your computer.
