 1.  Connect your device to the computer with the provided USB cable. The first time, a window will 

pop up and prompt you to install the driver.

 2.  Double click the executable file (.exe) in the window and follow the prompts to finish the driver 

installation on the computer.

Note: If the window doesn’t pop up automatically for some reason (for example, the firewall of your 
computer may block it), please open the new CD-ROM drive on your computer manually and find 
the executable file to run it.

 3.  Touch 

 > 

 > Settings  >  More…  >  Tethering & portable hotspot.

 4.  Select the USB tethering check box. A new network connection will be created on the 

computer.

If your computer can obtain an Internet connection via Bluetooth, you can configure your phone to 
share its mobile data connection with your computer.

 1.  Pair your phone with your computer via Bluetooth.

 2.  Configure your computer to obtain its network connection via Bluetooth. For more information, 

please see your computer's documentation.

 3.  Touch  

 > 

 > Settings  >  More…  >  Tethering & portable hotspot.

 4.  Tick the Bluetooth tethering check box. Your computer is now sharing your phone's data 

connection.

 5.  To stop sharing your data connection, uncheck Bluetooth tethering.

You can share your device’s data connection with several devices at once, by turning your phone 
into a portable Wi-Fi hotspot. The feature needs data connection on a mobile network and may 
result in data charges.

Note: When the portable Wi-Fi hotspot feature is enabled, you cannot access the Internet with any 
application on your phone via its Wi-Fi connection.
