The options in the SYSTEM section in sound settings let you select whether you hear tones when 
touching numbers on the dialpad, selecting onscreen options, and more.

Touch

  >  Settings  >  Sounds and select or deselect the check boxes as desired.

 

l 

Dial pad touch tones:  Play tones when using the dial pad.

 

l 

Touch sounds:  Play sounds when making an onscreen selection.

 

l 

Screen lock sound:  Play sound when locking or unlocking the screen.

 

l 

Vibrate on touch:  Vibrate when touching soft keys and during certain other instances.

 

l 

Emergency tone:  Turn alert sound or vibration during emergency calls on or off.

Adjusting your device’s display settings not only helps you see what you want, it can also help 
increase battery life.

Adjust your screen’s brightness to suit your surroundings. 

 1.  Touch 

  >  

  >  Settings  >  Display  >  Brightness.

 2.  Tick the Automatic brightness check box and your phone can adjust the screen brightness 

automatically, or clear the check box to adjust the screen brightness manually.

 3.  Touch OK.

Select a background image or animation for the home screen. See “Apply a New Wallpaper” in 

Use this feature to select the delay time before the screen automatically turns off.
