How do I get ShareScan v5.4 and all supporting documentation? 
ShareScan v5.4 and the documentation package are available for download 
from the Nuance registration site 
 for customers 
and are available on Nuance Navigato

eCopy resellers.
Which version of the ShareScan JAR file is needed to support 
ShareScan v5.4?
 
Version 5.4.20430.0 is the currently available JAR and this works with 
ShareScan v5.4. This JAR file may be downloaded from the Nuance 
Registration Site (
).
What previously installed versions of ShareScan can automatically 
upgrade to ShareScan 5.4 using the installer? 
 
ShareScan 5.4 can be installed over a previously installed ShareScan 5.0 or 5.1 
with any Service Pack. For customers with ShareScan 4.x, you have to run the 
5.2 installer to upgrade your 4.x system. After the 4.x system is upgraded to 5.2, 
you are ready to upgrade from 5.2 to 5.4. Please follow the detailed procedure 
in the Installation Guide.
Can profiles be exported from previous versions and loaded into a 
ShareScan v5.4 Server? 
Yes, however be sure to use the Profile Tool included with 5.4 for the creation 
and import of those profiles.
How do I get an NFR license for ShareScan v5.4? 
To request an NFR key, please open a support ticket on the ticketing portal 
using your reseller email address. In the Category drop-down, select 
“Licensing Request” > “NFR” to have the request submitted to the  
appropriate team.
