VRRP Commands

This chapter describes commands for:

Enabling and disabling Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) 

Performing basic VRRP configuration

Displaying VRRP information

clear counters vrrp {{vlan <vlan_name>} {vrid <vridval>}}

Clears, resets all VRRP statistics and counters.

N/A.

Use this command to reset the VRRP statistics on the switch. Statistics are not reset when 
you disable and re-enable VRRP.

If you do not enter a parameter, statistics for all VRRP VLANs are cleared. 

If you specify only VLAN name, statistics for all VRRP VRIDs on that VLAN are cleared. 

If you specify VLAN name and VRRP VRID, only statistics for that particular VRID are 
cleared.

vlan_name

Specifies the name of a VRRP VLAN. 

vridval

Specifies a VRRP Virtual Router ID (VRID). Value can be in the range of 
1-255.
